He made several visits to senior Air Force leaders. Randy continued his unwavering leadership after becoming aware of the Air Force Special Operation Command’s interest in Cannon. He has continued to provide his personal commitment to the Operation Keep Cannon Team, making trips and organizing visits by Air Force leadership regarding Cannon. He continues to guide the community in responding to requests for information regarding schools, housing and medical care in the and Portales communities.
“All of New Mexico can be justly proud of Randy Harris – his record of public service in addressing one of the most important issues to face our State in its history has been exceptional, and the communities of eastern New Mexico will benefit for decades to come,” says Lt. Governor Diane Denish
