Ada Pecos Melton
As President of American Indian Development Associates (AIDA), Ada Pecos Melton has provided technical assistance, research, and training to the Native-American community. AIDA offers training on Indian justice systems, program and public policy development, and research on crime, delinquency, violence, and victimization issues.
In addition to AIDA, she is a member of a National Advocacy for Indian Nations, involved in fund raising, securing passage of $20 million in appropriation for tribal youth programs and $5 million for tribal courts.
Mrs. Melton is a nationally known speaker and is booked year-round to speak at national conferences, universities, and state and local events. She serves on many local and national boards which support Native-American youth.
