Dr. Jeronimo Dominguez
Dr. Dominguez is the Dean of UNM Division of Continuing Education. An associate Dean spoke of his exceptional administrative and management skills as well as his high-energy, innovation, vision and ability to mentor. Under his leadership, UNM's Division of Continuing Education has built a new classroom and administration building, developed greater accountability creating economic strength, grown division programs in response to student/client/customer preferences. Approximately 30,000 people annually take classes through Continuing Ed and the Center hosts more than 200,000 visitors, conference and meeting attendees annually.
His commitment to education in New Mexico has been far-reaching and felt by many. He serves on many professional, regional, and national, councils and associations to further the educational initiatives in our state. Part of his skill as a leader is fostering relationships with other individuals and organizations that collectively can create greater impact. He is one of the founding members of the Teach and Learn Network which is a joint initiative of APS, UNM, TV-I, and KNME-TV. He has earned international recognition by fostering international educational programs through the support and participation of the Spanish Resource Center and International Activities office at the UNM Division of Continuing Ed and Community Services
Many children very directly feel his Impact through the Lobo Little League Board of Directors and as a youth coach and mentor.
